ENTERPRISE ENCODING
The facility uses a centralized encoding engine. By adding extra encoding nodes the processing capacity can be expanded at will. By design, no hardware encoders are used. To allow the highest quality in encoding, 2pass and multipass encoding are used whenever possible. Contentcoders uses industry standard encoders and muxers. Our encoding platform has been built from the ground up, we do not use third party encoding solutions like Flip Factory or Agility, so we are completely flexible and can work with the most exotic requirements. Furthermore, the facility is constantly updated with the latest video and audio compression technologies and monitored 24/7. The digital file is encoded to the desired format(s) for usage on a webserver, streaming server, in a IPTV facility, hospitality environment, etc. If required, subtitles or other language tracks are included in the output. Transport stream parameters are processed to specifications, XML is processed, end products can be shipped via disk, FTP, or using our Smartjog node. Contentcoders has been approved by iTunes as a certified encoding facility.  |
